The Poultry Queens really know how to let the "Son" shine on our food pantry!
They brought in and organized over 1,000 items during pageant week!
They also raised $2,200.00 to donate to Charity Mission Center! Way to let the "Son" shine in the community that you represent!
Congrats to the new queens! Keep up the good work!
Greatly Blessed to have Chuck Register -Director Of our Mission Catalyst Team and our catalyst at Charity recently
Is your church interested in being involved in missions?

Some very devoted ladies from Hickory Grove make sure each year that we have plenty of book bags for West Virginia at Christmas-
And they work with their Great Grandkids to pack them-
Great Way to teach our children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren how to allow the "Son" to shine through their lives!
Great Way to love those that may not have all they need!

Worked in the Food Pantry organizing
and
did some weeding in the landscaped areas!
Had art class a few hours each day-made some things to sell for the Pumpkins and Praise Fall Festival!
We learned we could paint with primitive tools that we found in nature!
We shot paint arrows at a canvas to make a colorful group art!
Made a target for our rooms at home to remind us to always "Make Jesus the Target of our Lives"
Amazed everyone with our landscape paintings!
Had a little leisure time!
And a
little play time!
(Still wondering what kind of friends shut you up in drawer?)
And most importantly, we learned how to make
"Jesus the Target for our Lives"!
Our families came to watch
the competition
Then the final day-We competed!
Making Jesus the "Target" of our Lives was Great Fun!
Can't wait until next time!

The weather may have been a little rainy and gloomy outside, but the Senior Adults recently enjoyed a bright day of "Son Shine" inside-
At the
"Love You More Than
Ice Cream"
EBA Senior Adult
lunch and show!
The Event started out with lunch-
The group was served pulled pork sandwiches & chips-
They were greeted by our Director of Missions, Richard Weeks and of course he filled everyone in on all the missions opportunities going on-
You don't have to look long to find a spot where you would "fit in" -
The Lord is working and moving in people's lives all around us.
And Tammy Weeks surprised the group when she showed up in her "Sunday Best" or maybe we should say, "Best Sundae Suit"!
National Award winning Country/Christian
Artist and Comedian and our
Special Guest, Shellem Cline
brought alot of laughter and some good ole country music to our stage!
He even had a song entitled...
"I love you more than ice cream!"
And after the entertainment, the crowd enjoyed homemade ice cream with all the toppings-
And of course lots of door prizes!
Someone at the party liked the ice cream enough to ask for the recipe, so here it is...
Ms. Wanda Guy wore a great shirt for the day!
(She really knows how to get into a party!)
Home Made Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe
1 can sweentened condensed milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons Vanilla
4 cups half and half
Dash of salt
Beat ingredients on low speed mixer for a minute to blend well, pour into freezer container and finish filling to the full line with whole milk. Put a good layer of crushed ice and then go around the top of the ice with rock salt and continue to layer in this way until the ice is to the top of the freezer container. Takes approximately 30-40 to freeze.
Enjoy the summer seniors and let the
"Son Shine!"
