Rev. Richard Weeks
Director of Missions
Richard joined our staff in October of 2015 as the interim Director of Missions and in January of 2016 was voted in as the Director of Missions. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Baptist Convention. He also volunteers as Site Coordinator of Charity Rebuild.
Before joining our staff he served as the Pastor of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Faison, NC for 10 years, served with the North American Mission Board on the Inner City Evangelism Team, served as Pastor of Center Baptist in Harrells, North Carolina, Youth Pastor of Serenity Baptist Church in Clinton, North Carolina, and also served as Region 3 Director for Baptist on Mission.
Richard received the 2020 Governor's Volunteer Service Award for Duplin County.
Richard and Tammy have 3 children, Charlie, Jim, and, Dusty. They also have four grandsons and two granddaughters.
Tammy Weeks
Mission and Ministries Director
Tammy joined our staff in May of 2017 and she also currently serves on the Executive Board for Baptist on Mission. Tammy's exuberant personality and her love of the Lord is contagious. She is very high spirited and welcomes all to come and be a part of the work that the Lord is accomplishing through our association.
Tammy formerly served as the State Prayer Coordinator for Baptist on Mission, a board member on the Executive Board for the State WMU and the Executive Board of the Biblical Recorder. She served on our associational WMU leadership team and was WMU Director from 2012-2017.
Tammy serves our association as the EBA Prayer Team Coordinator and
as the Finance Manager for Charity Rebuild.
Mrs. Sandra R. Winstead Administrative Assistant
Sandra has served the Eastern Baptist Association since April 2000. Sandra and her husband live in Kenansville, N.C. She has one son, Stroud who attends East Carolina University.
Mrs. Ann Evans
Communication and Grant Administrator
Ann has served the Eastern Baptist Association
since January , 2021. She lives in Kenansville and serves at Peace Baptist Church where her husband, Russ Evans is the Pastor. They have a son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Andrea who teach English and Social Studies in Apex.
