WOMT Roundtable
What a Fun Night for the ladies!
Each church decorated their table to depict a mission project that they enjoy doing-


Island Creek does a great job keeping the EBA Food Pantry well stocked!

Mt. Gilead responded with one of the first teams to our mountains after Hurricane Helene-Great Job!
Grove Park ladies enjoy making "no sew" lap blankets & present them with a cross and a note!
Sharon Baptist has a really big "life saving" Celebrate Recovery & Grief Share!


Garland ladies love to be involved in Hispanic Outreach-
We can tell the world about Jesus right in our own back yards now!


Dobson makes hygiene bags for students at James Kenan High School
and
they went to Canton in Western NC to serve those affected by Helene!

Corinth enjoys helping expectant moms and babies through the Agape Pregnancy Support and Services

Ladies from Johnson love to fill military care packages-Great way to let them know we are praying for them as they serve us!

Hickory Grove ladies send an enormous number of backpacks to West Virginia each year and they love to go and help distribute a lot of love as well!



Rose Hill Ladies have a dinner each year to honor their first responders-A great reminder to keep them in our prayers every day as they serve all of us!
Wallace First works with hundreds of high school girls to get them outfitted for the prom at NO CHARGE-a great way to help out the youth in our communities!


Magnolia Baptist works with Passion International to offer help with adoption support!
Poston enjoys having a birthday party for residents at Day Spring Assisted Living Facility each month!

Peace Baptist is sending Teddy Bears
to Teddi Bear Child Advocacy Center in Mt Olive. They work with abused and neglected children
Dinner was fabulous as always!


And of course everybody got lots of ideas to take back to their individual groups!









And as always-our leadership team had more fun than anyone preparing things for our Annual Session!

Oh What Fun! was
our 5th Annual
Harvest to Holidays Festival!

The Lord gave us the "Perfect Day" for being outside!

Potter's Clay
started off the
praise from the
stage
"Bluegrass Style"

And the Poultry
Queens delighted the crowd as they showed off their talents on and off stage!

Ms. Peggy started them off with a list for the 8 activities they would complete for their prize!
The Kids had a
"Christmasy Fun Time"
playing Reindeer Games!


These 2 girls were ready for the challenge!

Singing their favorite Christmas song while it was snowing
Was so much FUN!


Great Job Leah helping out with that "Avalanche Snowball toss"!
And Susan helped
the kids find Frosty a nose


While Mia gave them a Rudolf nose and showed them how to leap through the air like a deer!
Sophia and the kids joined the fun throwing snowballs down the chimney while wearing reindeer hooves!

Tristan made sure they got their last activity punched as they "Jumped for JOY" in the bouncy houses-
And of course the kids loved all the
reindeer fun!


Mr. Kent made a great train conductor...
And driver! I think the kids liked the one that moved the most!

That could be because they loved the blizzard that Mr. Michael would take them through! Let it SNOW!

"Stay on Track with Jesus"!
All the Vendors were FANTASTIC! Serving up all sorts of products that made the day the best it could be!

Ms. Sheila
painted up the kids faces
while the rest of Johnson Baptist sold their delicious breads, baked goods and all the girls had to have the "Fairy Hair"!
Mac & Bartley kept everybody cool serving up "A Little Something Extra" from their fantastic ice cream truck!





Bladen from Peace Baptist made sure all the kids got a free cotton candy!

Rowan Baptist and their youth served up those famous BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs!

Gail and Amy from First Baptist in Wallace were a couple of the "Highest Tickets Sales"

Great Job Girls!
White Oak had just about anything you want to find at a festival-Great Job White Oak!

And Mr. Paul Langston from Calypso served up good ole Funnel Cakes!

While Peace Baptist offered the "Best Ice Coffee" around as well as some great sausage with peppers hoagies!

Dobson sold festival winning BBQ and held a silent auction!
Looks like Tim & Lorrie from Beulah are trying to decide what to eat next!



Piney Grove cooked up some mighty fine pork chop sandwiches!
Kelli from Grove Park always has a mission project on her mind!

Mr. Dennis brought his
wonderful red vintage Ford pickup for everybody to enjoy and take pics with!

The 115th Annual Women on Mission
Meeting was really
Spectacular!


After a delicious meal
the new leadership team
and officers were announced-
And then we all started
sharing about the mission
projects that our individual groups enjoy most!





Dobson Chapel has some of those wonderful "bakers"
in their church and they love to reach out with some of these delicious goods in hand!
Beulah enjoys collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House-such a great cause for action!
Wallace First loved preparing a beautiful prayer garden at Charity Mission Center-
these ladies also maintain the garden and it's enjoyed by so
many volunteers!
Great way to promote prayer!

Rowan had an elegant table showcasing all of their different missions groups and to give Praise to our King Jesus for their upcoming birthday in October-275 Years!!!
Keep working for the Lord!


Peace has fun with the 12 Days of Christmas each year by making someone's Christmas season a little brighter!
And of course Robin and Amity had a terrific way to present it-
We may never again hear the
12 Days of Christmas sung so beautifully-
Way to Go Girls!


Rose Hill and Mt. Gilead have hearts for babies ! They have showers for those mothers who choose Life and get help from Lifeline Sampson. God's most supreme creation being protected!

They are planning to send 400 boxes this year!

Corinth and Magnolia have birthday parties for those living in special help centers. Everybody wants to be remembered on their birthdays-Great Job ladies!


Grove Park loves to feed the hungry-meet the physical needs first so they have ears for the gospel-

It was fabulous!

WMU Missions Retreat
We had a great group of women come out for the Friday night/Saturday morning Mission Retreat. After a delicious spaghetti dinner, we had lots of carbs to burn-

Tammy Weeks motivated the group by bringing a message on all that "I Can" do as a "Woman on Mission" for Jesus Christ



The overnight stay was so much fun and
Saturday morning was all about a little "hands on" missions! The ladies worked filling bags for the Special Olympics and prayed for the recipients of the bags-



And then finished the morning sorting and hanging for the Thrift Store Ministry!
