After Hurricane Florence our Director of Missions, Richard Weeks lead teams from our association as well as teams from all across our nation in re-building the storm ravaged homes in our area.

Richard was seeing how powerfully God was moving through His people and in the lives of so many in need of a Savior that he agreed to volunteer as Site Coordinator of  Charity Rebuild while still working as Director of Missions for Eastern Baptist. He knew  that this is where God is at work and this is the place in which he could direct the efforts of our association. Through  much prayer, our association moved the associational office to the Charity Rebuild location in order to be closer to the work that God is doing in our midst. And just look at all the great things He has done and is doing through the church!
